Chives are a useful and handy herb to have to hand in the kitchen. Use as a garnish on new potatoes with lots of melted butter!

Grow these chives either in a pot on the window sill or grow in your herb or vegetable plot. Chives are a perennial herb and will come back each year. In the spring they have attractive purple flowers.
